Earth Day Art Exhibit 2024

Over the next school year we are focusing on Creation Justice.  We are planning an Earth Day Exhibit for Fall (new date to be determined) 2024 at the Nave Gallery located in Clarendon Hill Presbyterian Church.  Over the next school year we will discuss environmental issues and have opportunities for youth to create art related to our theme.  We will be sharing ideas for discussion and art creation and would like as many churches and youth to participate in the art exhibit as possible.

This is an intergenerational “event”. Knitters of all ages are invited to knit a temperature scarf representing one year from the past 150 years. (Temperature scarves are usually knit one row a day over the course of a year and each row represents the daily maximum temperature for that day.) I am challenging us to knit as many scarves as we can using data from the past 150 years. Instructions can be found in the PDF below or here.
